Ulcinj and olives are twins. There is no other place on the Adriatic coast having an olive grove with more than seventy-five thousand trees of that blessed plant, like in Ulcinj. Those trees are several hundred years old, of the indigenous „yellow“ sort, rich with olive oil and renowned for its wonderful taste.

Citizens of Ulcinj are proud of their olive groves and consider them a part of their tradition. They are known to passionately speak about them and are likely to suggest you visit them. If there is a harvest, as good hosts, they will also suggest that you join them in their olive pick. Later on, you could have it processed in nearby mills and leave with quality, extra-virginal olive oil.
