The Ulcinj Riviera is a favorite destination for tourists from Serbia, and the growing interest is confirmed by official data from the local tourism organization, according to which Montenegro’s southernmost coastal town welcomed seven percent more tourists from the largest Balkan country in 2025 compared to 2024.
The Tourism Organization of Ulcinj, together with representatives of the local economy, is presenting its offer at the 47th Tourism Fair in Belgrade at an independent 40-square-meter stand. Its rich millennia-old history, accommodation capacities, gastronomic and active holiday offerings, natural potential of its most beautiful beaches and hinterland, and the unique Ada Bojana attract tourists from Serbia.
The Director of the Tourism Organization Ulcinj, Ćazim Hodžić, pointed out the increase in interest among Serbian tourists for Ulcinj.
“In 2025, we had seven percent more tourists from Serbia and about five percent more overnight stays by Serbian guests compared to 2024. About 19 percent of the total tourist traffic in Ulcinj consisted of tourists from Serbia, and around 22 percent were overnight stays by Serbian tourists. This shows that, according to the latest trends over the past three years, we have significantly more tourists from Serbia and their interest in our destination continues to grow,” said Hodžić.
Hodžić emphasized that a number of interesting activities have been prepared for this participation at the Tourism Fair.
“There will be prize games organized, and representatives of the local economy will offer special accommodation packages in Ulcinj for tourists from Serbia. Among other things, tonight at 8 p.m. we are organizing ‘An Evening with Friends’ in Dorćoleta. We are gathering tourists who have become friends of Ulcinj. We will have a special gathering with them where we will officially thank them for visiting and not forgetting our town,” Hodžić stated.
The 47th International Tourism Fair opened today in Belgrade, where more than 350 exhibitors from 20 countries will present themselves until February 22. The slogan of the 47th International Tourism Fair is “One Journey, a Thousand Stories,” and this year’s partner country is Cyprus, which will present its tourism offer.
